Fashion Show at Blackpool Sands
Posted on May 02 2014
We were lucky enough to be involved in raising money for the Dartmouth Indoor Swimming Pool - something I feel Dartmouth really needs. We are surrounded by beaches, a beautiful river and the sea so children particularly need to be taught to swim at an early age.
The venue was beautiful - Venus Cafe, on Blackpool Sands. This is one of south Devon's most beautiful beaches, surrounded by pines and evergreens. The Cafes sits immediately on the beach and offers great food using local organic ingredients.
Everyone who attended was treated to a welcome glass of fizz, a goody bag and a wonderful homemade afternoon tea, courtesy of Venus Cafe. The cakes were gorgeous and plentiful and Louisa and her team worked really hard. The hospitality was great and the buzz in the room put a smile on my face!
The fashion show took place as everyone enjoyed their tea - our models all looked gorgeous and had a great time interacting with everybody in the room. We showcased a variety of our current collections, the most popular being Out of Xile, Nougat of London and the Amazing Woman Jeans.
All the models were volunteers and wore the different fashions beautifully - Danielli was proud!
In total £1100 was raised for the Dartmouth Charity - a very big thank you to all who contributed and helped.
