Charity Fashion Show in Dartmouth

Our yearly fashion show, held in conjuntion with The Foxx Exchange, for Dartmouth Caring was once again a great success.  We love to be able to support this local charity that offers such a wonderful support to so many local residents.  They work tirelessly offering help to the elderly and vulnerable thus helping the areas residents to live happy and vibrant lives plus connecting those who are isolated and improving health and well-being.  Their lunchtime clubs are well supported but obviously this all comes at a cost so all fund raising helps.

We descended on the stunning Dart Marina Hotel which is on the beautiful waterfront in Dartmouth - one of Devons most stunning towns.  The restaurant was laid up so we could entertain an amazing sum of 100 guests with a sumptuous afternoon tea, Prosecco and of course the much awaited fashion show.

We are very lucky to have lots of friends and customers of Danielli who offer their modelling skills and services so it really did not matter that Kate Moss or Naomi Campbell were unable to attend!

Our models first outfits were from the wonderful brand Onjenu London.  A firm favourite of not only ours but also our customers.  The offer such wonderful colours, prints and designs that are flattering to all shapes and sizes.  Clever tailoring means the different gatherings, drapes and necklines suit from an 8 to a size 18.

This year we also included some jumpsuits and they are becoming a firm favourite - especially for events such as Wimbledon and Henley.

Next up we showcased the linen collections - dresses, tunics and linen trousers all teamed with an array of brightly coloured bags and scarves. A particular favourite of our guests were the summer baskets - lots of tropical designs and blingy sequins - a sure way to give you that immediate 'Saint Tropez' vibe!.

We all know that a pair of well fitting jeans are like gold-dust!  Once you find the right pair they will be your best friend.  We have always loved the Amazing Woman Jeans because our customers rave about them.  The higher waist means you have no 'unexpected' show of flesh, and the slight stretch means they are comfortable and stylish.  A British brand, Amazing Woman Jeans offer lots of colours and styles.  The most popular being the 02moonlt style which comes in denim Indigo, black, white and a variety of other summer colours including my personal favourite - cornflower blue.   You can see from the picture below our models looked stunning in them!

We all had a wonderful day and helped to raise the wonderful sum of £2000 - thank you to everyone for your support and we look forward to the next one!
